PA1-4131 detects yeast RAD17.
PA1-4131 has been successfully used in Western blot procedures. By Western blot this antibody detects a ~75 kDa protein representing RAD17 in yeast.
The PA1- 4131 immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to residues S(10) T K R S L K K K K I R K I(23) of the 75 kDa S. pombe RAD17.
Figure 1 illustrates Western blot detection of yeast RAD17 using PA1-4131. |
The RAD17 gene product of Schizosaccharomyces pombe is involved in the DNA damage checkpoint signal transduction pathway and has a key role in cell cycle checkpoint control. |
